Why do I have to add a case to see all timelines?

The dataset exists only because applicants contribute to it. Summary statistics are open to everyone; the individual case timelines are available to contributors. Adding a case is the only requirement.

Why am I copying and pasting instead of connecting my account?

IOE Tracker does not request or store USCIS credentials. Copying the response yourself means you can review exactly what is submitted, and the site never interacts with your USCIS account.

Will anyone see my case number?

No. It is stored only to identify your case when you submit an update and to avoid counting the same case twice. It is never displayed on the site and never included in data sent to your browser.

What if I clear my cookies?

Submit your case status again to restore access. Contribution is what grants access, so there is no password to reset and nothing to recover.

Can I add more than one case?

Yes. Each case number is tracked separately, and any one of them grants access.

What do the dates mean?

Submitted is the date USCIS recorded receipt of the form. Finished is the date of the decision. Days is the interval between the two, or the elapsed time so far for cases still pending. All values are derived from the case history in your own status response.

How accurate is this?

Every timeline comes from a USCIS case status response, and each submission is validated against the case number entered and checked for consistent dates. The data is self-reported by those who choose to contribute and is not a statistically representative sample of all filings. It should be treated as an indicator, not a guarantee.
